Goulding was born in Launceston and moved to Brisbane as a child. His first NBL opportunities came as a development player with Brisbane and Perth before a larger role with the Gold Coast Blaze. He subsequently became a leading scorer with the Melbourne Tigers, including a 50-point game against Sydney in 2014.
He joined Melbourne United in 2015–16 and captained the club to championships in 2018 and 2021. The 2018 title also brought Grand Final MVP recognition. His story therefore includes both the Tigers era and the later United identity.
500-game career feature ↗ · NBL player profile ↗
The NBL marked Goulding's 500-game milestone in January 2026. His international achievements include membership of Australia's bronze-medal team at the Tokyo Olympics. These milestones sit alongside a club role built around shooting, movement and leadership.
Three-point makes are useful, but attempts and minutes add context: a high-volume shooter can create pressure on a defence even when a single game's percentage fluctuates. The shooting table calculates percentages from total makes and attempts, while the game log lets supporters inspect individual nights.
The season figures here are not a complete career total. His championship and Olympic achievements remain in the profile even when a different season or competition is selected above.
