Keep the NBL Fixture in Your Calendar

The calendar tool is for fans who want their basketball plans alongside work, travel and other commitments. Choose all NBL games, one team's home and away fixture, or games played in a particular city. The selection covers the season shown on the page. It can include published preseason, league and Finals games for that season; it does not invent fixtures that the league has not announced.

Choose a club or a place

A team calendar follows that club wherever it plays. A city calendar follows the location of the game, regardless of the teams. If you live in Perth but support Melbourne United, those are two different useful views. Choose United to follow the team and Perth to plan local attendance. Subscribing to overlapping calendars can display a match twice because your calendar app is showing two separate subscriptions.

The preview lists up to five upcoming games from your chosen calendar. Compare the opponents, venues and dates before copying its address. The total also includes earlier published games and cancellation notices with known times. It is therefore not the number of future matches still available to attend. Games without a confirmed tip-off time do not become timed entries until a time is available.

Subscription and Download Are Different

Subscribe for a fixture that can change

A subscription lets your calendar service revisit the published address and pick up later changes. Keep that address as the calendar's source rather than importing a new file each week. Your provider decides when to check it. A change appearing on the match page may take longer to appear in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. The calendar is a planning aid, so check the match page before leaving for the arena.

Download for a one-time copy

An ICS download is useful when you want to import the current fixture into an application that accepts calendar files. Once imported, that copy does not automatically follow later changes to this site's fixture. Importing another copy can create duplicates, depending on the app. Microsoft's calendar help explains the distinction between importing a file and subscribing to an online calendar.

Set Up Google, Apple or Outlook

For Google Calendar, use the computer-browser instructions above and add the public address through From URL. Opening a downloaded file is a different action. Google's calendar help explains adding a public calendar by address. After you add the subscription to the right account, check that account and calendar are enabled on the other devices where you want to see the games.

Apple Calendar can open a subscription through a compatible Subscribe link, or you can paste the address into New Calendar Subscription on a Mac. Outlook on the web offers Subscribe from web. Interface wording can differ between devices and app versions, so use the provider's instructions if you cannot find the option. Copy address is available when opening the Subscribe link does not launch a compatible calendar application.

Times, Changes and Cancellations

Your calendar controls the display time

Each timed entry represents the same instant as the published tip-off. Your calendar app displays it in its own time zone. Changing the time zone on this website changes the preview, but does not shift the real start of the game. If an entry looks several hours different, check the calendar application's zone and the venue's local time before assuming the fixture has moved.

When a known game changes time, a subscription can update that event instead of treating it as a new matchup. A cancelled fixture retains a cancellation notice; how it appears depends on the receiving app. Postponed games can remain tentative while a replacement time is awaited. The feed does not invent an end time, an arena arrival time or a reminder setting. Choose reminders in your own calendar and allow time for travel separately.

Will a downloaded file update itself?

No. Importing the file creates a snapshot. Subscribe using the published address if you want your calendar service to check for later fixture changes.

Why has a changed tip-off not appeared in my app?

Calendar services refresh subscriptions at their own intervals. Check the match page for the latest listing and confirm that you subscribed rather than imported a file.

Does a team calendar include away games?

Yes. It includes published games involving that club in the selected season. Choose a city calendar when you only want games played at that location.

Will this subscription automatically become next season's fixture?

No. The address identifies a particular season. Return to the calendar tool for the next season's published fixture, keeping the old calendar if you want its results and dates.
