Cairns Convention Centre NBL Games & Venue Guide

Choosing the Taipans basketball event

The Convention Centre is a multi-purpose venue at the corner of Wharf and Sheridan Streets. A Taipans ticket is for a basketball event, not a conference session. Use the seating plan attached to that game: auditorium and conference-room plans can describe a different part of the building.

Before entering the arena

The Centre’s conditions of entry identify it as a cashless venue. Prepare your authorised event ticket and check the items permitted for that event. Ticket and seating questions belong with the game’s organiser or seller, particularly if your party needs adjacent accessible and companion seating.

Parking needs a game-night check

The building’s general parking information should be read alongside the Taipans’ instructions for your match. A car park described for conferences is not a promise of available NBL parking. Check the event’s arrival advice and leave time to reach the correct entrance from your chosen parking place.
