Sturt and the college route

Griscti developed through South Australian basketball and the Sturt Sabres before heading to the United States. He played at the University of the Incarnate Word and then transferred to UC Riverside for 2023–24.

Riverside's official biography records a 30-point performance during his earlier college spell, including eight three-pointers. That is a college milestone, rather than an NBL career high, and helps explain why outside shooting is part of his basketball story despite his frontcourt position.

Choosing basketball and returning to Adelaide

A league interview ahead of his Adelaide move discussed interest from Australian rules football clubs. Griscti chose to continue in basketball, returning to the Sabres before joining the 36ers as a development player for NBL25.

His pathway links a local junior program, college competition and his hometown NBL team. The current match log lets Adelaide supporters track his opportunities without mixing Sturt's NBL1 Central figures with the national league. Games, minutes and shooting attempts provide context when his role produces only a small sample of appearances.
