Cairns Basketball Stadium NBL Games & Venue Guide

The Aumuller Street basketball venue

This listing refers to Cairns Basketball’s stadium in Manunda. The NBL1 club page gives its address as 289 Aumuller Street and uses the Early Settler Stadium name. Other basketball announcements have used different sponsor names. The street address is the useful point of reference when comparing an older event notice.

Separate from the Convention Centre

A Cairns Basketball preseason fixture is not automatically at the Cairns Convention Centre. Check which arena is named on the actual match. The community stadium has its own basketball identity and admission arrangements, rather than the full event set-up of a regular Taipans night at the Convention Centre.

Finding the spectator arrangements

For another preseason visit, look for a dated announcement from the Taipans or the host association. A fixture establishes the opponent and location, but it does not establish an open training session or current ticket availability. Contact the host about accessible seating and spectator entry when those details are not published.
