NBL Games in Hamilton

A Breakers night in the Waikato

Hamilton offers a way to see the Breakers without travelling to Auckland. The club's regional games at Claudelands are still part of the Australian NBL: the venue changes, not the competition. This page lists the Hamilton dates so you can plan around the place you want to attend.

Claudelands tickets are their own booking

The Breakers' NBL27 announcement names visits by Tasmania on 18 December 2026 and South East Melbourne on 4 February 2027. Use the fixture above for current match information and the Hamilton Ticketek programme for the corresponding admission options.

A Spark Arena ticket or membership entitlement should not be assumed to cover Claudelands. The Hamilton programme has its own event listings, including the published two-match offer. Check the actual seller and inclusions rather than relying on the Breakers name alone. Prices, accessible seating and any remaining availability are matters for that event's ticket page.

Crossing town to Claudelands

The venue's visiting guide places it at Brooklyn Road and Heaphy Terrace, on the eastern side of the Waikato River. It provides maps for arrivals from the city centre and from outside Hamilton, plus parking and public transport information.

Parking arrangements can change with the event and a charge may apply. Use the basketball listing to check access rather than borrowing instructions from a different exhibition. The official guide also links to Busit services and accessibility details, which are useful starting points if you need a journey or entrance suited to your circumstances.

A regional home beyond Auckland

The Breakers describe Hamilton as a second home for NBL27. Their announcement connects the return with supporters across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty and recalls an earlier win over Sydney at Claudelands. That gives the current programme a local context beyond two isolated dates on a national fixture.

Following a club and following a place

For Waikato supporters, the value is the chance to see the same professional side closer to home. For an Australian visitor, it is a reminder that a Breakers home game is not always in Auckland. The Auckland page covers Spark Arena dates separately, with different transport and ticket arrangements.

The Hamilton clock is New Zealand time, including the seasonal daylight-saving change. Keep the local time under the match card in mind when comparing Australian coverage. The city calendar follows Claudelands games listed here; the team calendar follows the Breakers through their wider season. Neither should be confused with the separate New Zealand domestic NBL.

Questions about NBL games in Hamilton

Where are the Breakers' Hamilton NBL games played?

The announced NBL27 Hamilton fixtures are at Claudelands Arena. Check the specific match and event ticket for current entry details.

Can I use the Spark Arena ticket link for Hamilton?

Use the Hamilton event's own seller. The announced Claudelands programme is on Ticketek New Zealand, while Spark Arena uses separate ticket arrangements.

Are Hamilton Breakers games part of the NZ domestic NBL?

No. These Breakers games belong to the Australian NBL. A regional New Zealand venue does not change which league the fixture belongs to.
