Two different Phoenix teams
Rissetto's career includes both South East Melbourne Phoenix in Australia and Phoenix Hagen in Germany. They are separate clubs in separate competitions. His first Australian NBL spell was with South East Melbourne, where a development deal opened the door to senior league appearances.
A March 2023 announcement extended that opportunity after his first season. The same league account records his Tall Blacks debut in 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Lebanon and Jordan, adding a national-team chapter to the club pathway.

A return home with the Breakers
New Zealand announced Rissetto on a one-year agreement in July 2026, following his season with Phoenix Hagen. The Breakers described the signing as part of their commitment to a strong Kiwi core and an addition to their frontcourt depth.
That experience makes his move a return to the NBL, rather than a first introduction to it. His current match totals are shown separately from the earlier Phoenix spell, German basketball and Tall Blacks games.
